As our industry continues to evolve and technology begins to improve, our client’s needs have shifted and we provide our clients with innovative solutions, and are always looking for opportunities to improve.
When we first started working with one of our customers, we learned they were doing all of their onboarding, benefits enrollment, and data entry into the carrier systems manually. The group had over 300 employees, and their HR manager and her assistant were spending 10 hours a week doing manual data entry. The client was taking paper enrollment forms and booklets to new hire onboarding and open enrollment meetings that were held at multiple offices throughout the country. We were able to streamline the enrollment by implementing a full benefit administration system where employees could go online to enroll in their benefits, and their elections fed automatically to all benefit carriers. The HR team at the client could pull enrollment and payroll deduction reports through the system, and it served as a single-source platform for all benefit information. The following year, we built an online landing page for open enrollment that housed all the benefit summaries, guides, and open enrollment information. The landing page also had a link for employees to go online to enroll.
As a result of implementing a benefit administration system, we enhanced day-to-day HR operations, streamlined the benefits experience for employees, and tracked benefits eligibility.
